About June Kimmel -
The Word of God, His saving grace, and ministry to people surround June Kimmel’s earliest memories of growing up in a pastor’s home. At the age of five, she came to know the Lord as her personal Savior as she knelt by her mother’s side in the kitchen of the little parsonage of the Baptist church that her dad pastored. For over thirty years June, author and pastor’s wife, has been involved in women’s ministries and Christian education. Through her books, seminars, and discipleship ministries, June challenges women to know God better, to claim His promises, and to apply His Word to their daily lives. These principles have been the heart of her life as well as her teaching and writing. In November of 2004, June’s first women’s Bible study, That I May Know Him, was published. In 2007, A Life Surrendered, a study of the life of the Lord Jesus, and its companion study, A Life Exalted, were released. June’s latest book, My Heart Restored, shares her journey from spiritual weariness to renewed joy in Christ. Her husband, David, currently pastors Faith Baptist Church in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The Kimmel’s have three married children—two daughters and a son—and seven grandchildren.
